Little Phoenix has been modeling for approximately 10 years. She attended Towson University as a music composition student which is where she met her cousin Nicole. The two girls were unaware that they were related until a conversation occurred that mentioned Nicole’s last name. From there the girls started the band Sonodara which had influences from 80’s bands like Duran Duran and Depeche Mode mixed with other influences such as Tori Amos and Nine Inch Nails. This eclectic mix of haunting melodies, Celtic undertone and industrial beats landed the girls in numerous shows in Maryland. At one such show the girls were asked to perform in a fashion show, not as musicians but as models. This was the first runway show Little Phoenix participated in and after trying it she found she really enjoyed it.
After a few years Sonodara went on hiatus due to Nicole’s busy schedule. It was at this time that Little Phoenix started to dapple in photo shoots and makeup. Her influences drew from video games, music, cos-play, Japanese street fashion, pin up and pop culture. As her popularity grew she found herself getting more and more modeling work.
Little Phoenix has been in published numerous times and can be found in magazines such as Alt Fashion Magazine, Strange Beauty and The Paige. More recently you can find her in videos including Unicorn Table’s Heaven’s Door and The Fixer. She also models for several designer like Girdle Bound, Marslox, Twisted World and Hotmommas DeZign.
Not only does she do her own makeup for the majority of her shoots but she does it for other models as well. Her work has been featured in various publications.
More recently Little Phoenix has been trying to get back creating music. She will still be working as a model and makeup artist but has a countless pieces of music that she will be working on with added influences of Dubstep and Video games fans are in for a treat!
Recent cosplays have included Bayonetta, Yuna (gunner) and Skuld (Ah! My Goddess).
